Doppelgänger , titled after character from Shinya Tsukamoto’s Tetsuo: The Iron Man (1989), forefronts cybernetic theory based upon the prioritization of practical design and automation while unconsciously modeling a psychological system that transcends distinctions between computers and humans. Text bubbles evoke a romantic dialogue borrowed from Tetsuo’s script spoken by the film’s fused cyborgs, “Our love can destroy this whole fucking world.”
